My beautiful sister, Vera (Vera), this is a very difficult moment... My heart is shattered. I can’t believe you are gone. You suffered so much and fought so hard, but in the end, it was not enough. I truly hoped you would find a better path and true health and happiness, and I know how hard you tried.I feel lucky that we talked so often—we cried, we laughed, and we created memories. I kept all your messages, both the happy and the sad ones, and I read several again today. I will never forget how often you told me you were thankful, and how much you loved me. I felt the same as you did. ❤I am devastated and will miss you dearly, but I take comfort in knowing your suffering is over. Now, you are reunited with your twin sister, Sara; I feel you both so deeply in my heart. May you brighten the skies with your beautiful smile. Hug your sister for me. I love you forever. <3
