When Life Gives You Lemons…

It has been a while since I wrote a blog post. You see, life gave me lemons and I had no idea how to make lemonade!

The truth is, life has been a bit complicated lately… I had many plans for the beginning of the new year, and I just did not have the energy or motivation for any of it. I was not happy, and I needed to get my groove back. So, I took the time I needed to recharge, and I am back—not one hundred percent, but inspired to make a change for the better!

What we experience in our lives reminds me of intersecting railway tracks. I am not a fan of trains for personal reasons, but I feel this is a good description of how life happens—one never knows which track the train is going to roll onto. There is always a destination, but only the conductor of the train knows which track to take, and we are just there for the ride, hoping to reach our destinations on time.…

Sometimes we decide to get on a different track, only to end up on the same track as before. But what we need to understand is that every journey is a learning experience, and it is best to find the positive among the negative. This is something I have been working on—it is ok to change our destinations, explore the possibilities, and learn from the experiences. In the end, we will prevail, and we will be stronger and more confident.

So, I got some lemons, what do I do with them? I am going to plant their seeds and observe how the little seedlings will flourish into little trees, and eventually, they will bear new fruit. This is a lesson in life--always look on the bright side of life… I will take the misfortunes I stumbled into, and I will try to change them for the better.

Despite a not so good beginning of 2022, I am starting to feel inspired again. It is still cold outside, but Spring will be here soon. That means my lemon seedlings will emerge, and soon enough, I will be able to make the most refreshing lemonade! 😂. So, stay with me, get on my train, take this life's journey, and let it take you where it is supposed to take you—let's do this together!
